U Can't BEAT Learning
BEAT (Beyond Expressive Arts Team) offer schools and organisations different types of Drama and performance activities. They are all aimed to help with learning outside the class room, SEAL projects, confidence and fun! All our teachers have been Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked and have the experience whilst working and performing in schools.
Here's what BEAT can offer your school......
CREATIVE LEARNING
(For Foundation stage to Year 6 and Year 7 to Year 11)
Using movement music and drama we can teach all subjects in creative ways. In the past we have helped with English, using our writers circle activities, Maths, using our number crunching challenge and dozens of other topics from huge hairy Vikings to timid evacuees in WW2. What ever the subject, topic or year group our workshop leaders will bring a unique, energetic creative and fun way of learning.
These workshops can be from a day long to 30 minuets depending on the school and what you would prefer. You can use us for a one off day, a term or even the full year. For more information please contact us.
We are offering this for £150 per day. (discounts for term and year bookings)
PLAY IN A DAY
(For Year 2 to Year 6 and Year 6 to year 10)
Exactly what is says on the tin! A class, or selected students are taken out of the classroom and learn a play to be performed at the end of the day to other students, teachers and even parents. You can choose what topic you want your play to be about. Transition, exams worries and techniques and internet safety were very popular last term but with over 30 scripts to choose from it's up to you. We have different styles of stories and scripts depending on the year group all packed full of information told in interesting comical ways.
We are offering this at £150 per day.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
(Any Key stage group)
A great way to finish of the day with some drama, dance and musical fun! BEAT after school clubs are fun, fast and fascinating! We play with warm up ideas, improvisations, script work, musical instruments, film and media and lots more. We want the students to be as creative as they can and build up confidence about themselves and being able to express there ideas and opinions in a positive and correct manner.
Some schools prefer a mixture of activities whilst others like us to do projects. For example last term we made a short film with an after school club advertising there healthy school dinners.
We can offer this at £30 per hour.
